Author Talk: Rachel Hochhauser


We’re thrilled to welcome Rachel Hochhauser to Bedford Books! Her debut novel, Lady Tremaine, was both our April book club selection and an instant New York Times bestseller. We can’t wait to meet Rachel and hear more about the inspiration behind the book and her journey as a writer.

Rachel will be joined in conversation by bestselling author Carola Lovering for what promises to be a wonderful evening.

ABOUT RACHEL HOCHHAUSER

Rachel Hochhauser is the debut novelist behind LADY TREMAINE, a Cinderella retelling told from the stepmother's perspective, published by St. Martin's Press in early March. A Reese's Book Club Pick, instant New York Times bestseller, Book of the Month selection, Indie Next Pick, and Library Reads pick, the novel will be translated into more than eleven languages.

In addition to writing, Rachel co-founded and runs Piecework, a jigsaw puzzle and design company. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA, she now lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two daughters.
